This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each school year, I pay out of pocket to purchase all the supplies needed for my students. I truly believe that having all their supplies ready for them will set them up for a successful school year.
Purchasing school supplies myself helps ease the burden on my student's families.
The supplies I requested are day to day necessities needed for a class of 32 students. These are the 'basics' needed for third grade! Some of the items needed are: folders, crayons, pencils, erasers, name-tags, envelopes, nameplate sleeves, mesh pouches, and erasers.
By donating to my classroom, you are not only helping my students, you are helping ease the burden that their families face each day. You have no idea how much this means to me!
