Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 5th graders at a Title I school. Our school was presented this year with the Golden Bell Award for our Safe and Civil procedures. We are very proud of this award that we earned by providing the students with structure and procedures that they follow daily on our campus.

Our students are economically and ethnically diverse and they love coming to school and are enthusiastic about learning everyday.

They love exploring and learning new concepts. I am always looking for new ways to challenge them. They are our future and I want to be able to set them up to succeed.

My Project

The paper, pencils, notebooks, erasers, pens, and pencil boxes will help get the students started off on the right foot for the new school year. These are regular classroom supplies that I typically buy myself every year for my students. These supplies will go directly to the students and allow for the students to have their own supplies and also help keep their supplies and classwork organized. This also prevents them from having to share supplies and worry about cross contamination that could happen due to sharing supplies or not keeping their supplies organized.
