My Students

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning but they have different learning styles. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

We are would appreciate some additional school supplies because the yearly teacher's choice is cut.

Teacher's choice gives all teachers in NYC public schools $250 to shop for school supplies. Please donate whatever you can or share this post to help me gather the supplies that my students need for the blended/hybrid model of learning in September. Thank you!

My Project

Laminating machine, pouches, and velcro dots would be great for tactile and kinesthetic activities suited for my students with special and language needs, especially for matching activities. With manila folders, we can make dioramas and other projects to express what we learned in a unit. With the hooks and shoe racks, I can use that to separate students' supplies and headphones for the computers to minimize the spread of COVID 19 since NYC is adopting the hybrid learning model. Sheet protectors would allow my students to reuse their favorite worksheets and graphic organizers to maximize learning. All supplies would greatly help my students!
