Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a special education teacher working in a low-income area, there are several obstacles my students face. I want to help and provide my students with the best they need to succeed.

The students in my classroom are students with learning, speech, and emotional disabilities.

If I could describe my students I would say they're creative, funny, and unique. I provide my students with a safe, comfortable, and caring environment where they can be themselves and share their creative minds.

My Project

My classroom needs basic tools that the school is not able to provide. Every day my students come to school ready to learn. Learning requires some supplies and we need help having these supplies in our classroom. Being able to easily erase a whiteboard lets us save on paper and lets us learn from our mistakes quickly.

Receiving school supplies for my classroom will be very beneficial to my students.

Rather than having to print from home (many do not have this option) or find a friend or family member with a working computer and printer, they will be able to print from our classroom.
