Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my classroom walk in my classroom full of energy and ready to learn. They are twenty-five happy children that love coming to school. My students have a lot of energy and they are learning English. They love school and they love to learn.
My students come from different ethnic backgrounds.
Most of my school's population comes from homes where English is not their first language. Some of them are newcomers and speak little or no English. They'll be very happy if they get new school supplies.
My Project
My students need these supplies to make learning more easy and fun. At school, I am teaching the academic but also I want to teach my students to be independent. With a classroom mailbox, they'll be able to manage paper handling and homework collection. They'll be using the dry erased clipboards to practice writing vocabulary spelling without wasting paper. The writing folders will help them stay focused when drafting, editing and revising their stories. And why not trying the mechanical pencils to make them feel special when writing. The mechanical pencils will help them stay focused on writing instead of thinking about sharpening pencils.
