Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working in an underserved school, it feels especially important to ensure we give our students supplies they need to learn in more dynamic ways. Please help us run fun team whiteboard games with dry erase markers and erasers so we can review touch concepts and have fun. Help us restock our crayons and markers so students can work on their group posters with materials they need to feel proud of their work. Give us a full set of highlighters (at last!) so we can mark up texts to look for deeper meaning, bias, and author's craft. I know this is not the most exciting of projects but I can see the way students feel valued and build their own self worth when they are given new materials with enough to go around for everyone. Thanks in advance!
