My Students

We find ourselves as teachers in unprecedented times and feel the burden of teaching our students be it in person or online!

My students who come from urban communities and low socioeconomic backgrounds will benefit from this project.

We are trying to give students what they need to make them successful wherever learning takes place.

My Project

In these unprecedented times, I am trying to give my low income students independence while learning from a distance. Even if we teach in person in the classroom setting, students will not be able to share classroom materials like we have done in the past.

This project will ensure that the students work in their own space, germ-free!

They will have their own personal dry erase whiteboards and markers to work with in person at school or through our Google meetings online. The folders and composition books will provide uniformity, quick response time to getting materials ready and also decrease anxiety that some students experience due to lack of school supplies.
