Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the time students were learning virtually, they missed out on the fun and essential opportunities to explore their interests and make friends due to shared interests. I aim to change that this year by bringing more joy in engaging projects and activities to my classroom. Within the first semester, I am planning to focus on building healthy relationships within our classroom. I want my students to get to know each other and be one team.

This year we are starting the year with a huge emphasis on building school spirit as we introduce fun school projects and activities.

The supplies requested in this project will help make these activities and projects a reality. The students will use the chalk and Sharpie markers when needed to make vibrant classroom projects and posters to display students' work. The scissors will help with crafty projects and activities. The photo printer and instant film will help take pictures of our lab experiments so students can further analyze lab results and reflect on the objective of the lab experiments. We will also use the smartphone printer and film to create a selfie wall that will showcase what they're learning, their accomplishments, their joy, and even their challenges. Additionally, the smartphone printer will also help print highlights and visually display them in the classroom for all to browse while roaming the halls. All the items requested will help my students feel safe, relaxed, and free to express themselves creatively. Please help fund our classroom project.
