My Students

I am fortunate enough to have a chance to loop with my students from last year and continue the learning process in our new 3rd-grade classroom! My students are a great group of diverse learners, who are eager to learn and engage with each other about the world around them.

Our school has great diversity, but we are a low-income school.

The majority of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. During this very tough time, most parents are fighting to earn ends meet for their families.

As a special education teacher, I want to help by promoting a positive and fun learning environment while targeting all my students' individual needs. It is important that my students feel excited and eager to come to school and succeed in the classroom!

Our school works hard to bring everyone together in a warm and caring school community.

My Project

As we are trying to teach during a pandemic, I think about all of my students and their various needs emotionally as well as academically. These student supplies will help my students during this very difficult time. Most of my students come from low-income families. With going into the new school year and adjusting to teaching a blended learning program, my students will be both in the classroom as well as home continuing the learning through remote learning.

My students will benefit from using these supplies in the classroom and also being able to take them home to use for remote learning.

Being a special education teacher, I strive to modify and reach the goals of all my students' individual learning skills.

My students need lots of support in writing, with these writing process folders my students will be able to stay organized and focused at home and in the classroom! My students will also benefit from supplies their families struggle to get for them such as pencil sharpeners, folders, pencils, journal notebooks, and many more! As we move through this very scary and unknown school year, please help my students get the supplies they need that will help foster their education.
