Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have exciting end of year math projects planned for students but we need the supplies to make it happen. Students get to design a structure, create a blueprint with all measurements of area and volume. Finally they will build their own structures using what we have learned about volume and area. Students get to use their own creativity to decorate their structure in anyway they like. Whether they see themselves as artists or architects they get to see how math can be applied to a real word task. Help make these projects fantastic by giving students access to the materials they need.
