This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are resilient, witty, and eager to learn. However, many times when they step into the classroom they are not equipped with the basic essentials such as paper and pencils to make their learning experience seamless. As a middle school Math teacher of over 100 students, it's very difficult for me to provide them with these materials on my own all year long. Every donation helps both me and my students to make our learning environment rich, welcoming, and plentiful. I don't believe in penalizing my students if they don't have a pencil, I want to be able to give them the tools they need so long as they come in ready to learn.
