This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I am Ms. Q, a Bilingual Reading Intervention teacher for students whose first language is Spanish. I go into their classrooms and teach them how to read and speak English and Spanish.

The kind of work I do is hands-on.

It requires materials.

My work is not just about reading worksheets and books. I use colorful paper, pens, and Post-its to create interactive activities that make phonics fun. We sort, deconstruct, and reconstruct words, making learning a hands-on experience.

My work also requires me to print many things, having an ample supply of ink in my personal printer allows me to do my job with maximum efficiency.
