Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders this year are so eager to learn. They love to read, write, and share their stories with the class. In math, they love using manipulatives and working together. As you can imagine, school supplies are limited and are used up quickly. In order to be fully prepared for next school year, I want to make sure my students are ready. Supplies such as pencils, erasers, glue sticks, crayons, color pencils, and scissors are just some of the supplies we use everyday. In order to keep all these supplies organized, we use individual pencil boxes. Here is where every student keeps their supplies, and is responsible for keeping it in order and tidy.

My Project

School supplies are important in the daily tasks of students. Having the necessarily materials available will determine the outcome of student success. Often times I find myself buying my own school supplies for my students. Materials often add up. Recently, I have learned that planning ahead ensures that my students are prepared for next year, and it doesn't break the bank. I can't wait for the next school year. There are many new challenges and I want to make sure my students are ready to take on those challenges with me. We appreciate your support in public education. Thank you again!
