My Students

My students come from many different backgrounds and have diverse abilities and interests. Each of them are unique, however they all have one thing in common; a love for learning. My students are actively engaged in their learning throughout the day during small group work, project based learning and hands-on activities. My students are amazing and I want them to have the tools and resources to best support their academic growth. I want to provide basic items that will ensure their safety upon our return to the school building. My students truly deserve the best!

My Project

This school year is going to be challenging and will be set up quite differently. We are starting the year in a blended learning mode, which means the students will be in school 2-3 days a week and learning remotely at home on the other days. Many families within our community are struggling financially and there are severe budget cuts, in which there is no additional funding provided for school supplies. I am reaching out to Donors Choose for a variety of supplies, such as bins for each individual child, pencils, dry-erase markers, glue sticks, crayons, paper, construction paper, paper towels and wipes.

These items are essential for their safety and basic academic needs.

Each child will have their own school supply bin for the classroom and a supply pouch to keep at home. By donating to my project, you will help my students start off their year successfully. This project will ensure that my students have the materials they need to safely return to school.
