This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Title I school. I know my students want to be successful but are afraid they do not have the tools to do so. I want my students to know they can and will be successful; I want to give them the tools to do just that. I want to make sure that my students have the basic needs to succeed in school. At times it becomes challenging for parents to supply their child with school supplies. I would like to alleviate parents/guardians from buying school supplies this upcoming school year.
I am asking for your help in donating the basic school supplies needed for students in third grade.
My students live in a low-income area. The pandemic has affected many parents/guardians within my school. My plan is to provide students with crayons, glue, scissors, pencils and paper to use in the classroom and at home. I would like to be able to provide everything my students will need to work successfully from home or at school. This project will help reach 62 students and families.
