My Project

My students are eager to learn but often come into the classroom lacking basic supplies and they are hungry. To help them be ready to learn I am happy to offer them quality school supplies and food.

Being able to offer my students basic quality school supplies and tasty snacks makes them feel cared for and improves the social emotional vibe in the classroom and sets the students up to be successful learners.

Often the first words out of my students' mouths, as they come into the classroom, are "Do you have any snacks?" or "I am hungry" I always feed hungry students. Every class period I get asked for pencils, paper, and glue sticks. It makes us all feel good when I can say "sure I have what you need and you can keep the pencil."
