This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to propose an initiative that could significantly benefit our students' focus and overall classroom experience. It has become increasingly evident that many students struggle to concentrate when they are hungry, which can lead to difficulties in learning and engagement. I believe that introducing accessible healthy snacks in the classroom and school could be a simple yet effective solution. These snacks would not only provide essential nutrients but also help keep students focused during lessons. Furthermore, creating an environment where students know they can safely voice their hunger without feeling embarrassed would be invaluable. By providing a designated space or person to talk to about their hunger needs, we can foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages students to prioritize their well-being.
