This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a school psychologist that works with a variety of students in special education. I complete the psychoeducational reports, which are roughly 20-40 pages long. Many parents want the reports printed. Our school printers are not the best quality and the one I was given did not print double sided, so I bought a personal printer to keep in my room that prints two-sided, but the ink is expensive. Parents deserve have high quality paper reports.

Also, I counsel students and they often do not have food or water.

I supply these items to them. The food/snacks provide a comfortable environment for students and helps them open up more.

The other supplies is to help with the special education assessment process. I use all these supplies to ensure my testing protocols are following procedures and therefore have valid results.

I would appreciate the support to cover these expenses.
