Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Spring is in the air! And unfortunately, the garbage is on the ground! The snow has melted and the wind is blowing garbage on our school grounds and around our school neighborhood.

This project is requesting gloves, biodegradable garbage bags, and garbage pick up tools for students, staff, and families to participate in a school wide cleanup around our neighborhood.

This project will give us the tools to clean up the garbage that has blown in to our school neighborhood and get our grounds ready for gardening. We will host an event for our students, staff, and families to come celebrate Spring at our school and help clean up our school neighborhood.
