This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My student’s common goal is to pass the math assessment to be eligible for graduation. I am mindful that many of our students’ face everyday challenges that are out of our, and their control. Knowing this gives me enthusiasm to support them in the things that we can control like providing them with the essentials to start a new school year. I not only teach my students, but I nurture them with the hopes that they learn that they can become much more than they might think they can.

Journals, notebooks, and pencils are among the most essential school materials for achieving a positive learning during the new school year.

This project aims to evaluate students who are homeless and/or financially necessary to ensure they have a conducive learning in their transition to a new school year.
