My Project

Out students are in an age 18-21 transition program to work on life skills for independent living. Our building has a Home Living Lab with a kitchen and laundry space for students to practice their skills. Our students decide on recipes, go to the local grocery store, and work together to make the recipes.

The students need basic kitchen supplies to work towards safety and independence in the Home Living Lab.

Materials include cleaning soap, scrub brushes, and cloths to wash the dishes. In addition, we highly lack seasoning in the food and our students come from a variety of backgrounds that use different spices to flavor food. We need more options of spices and flavorings to make food that students actually would enjoy themselves!
