This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school everyday excited to learn! They are inquisitive about the world around them. We strive to broaden their horizons and challenge their minds. We face many obstacles in our ICT classroom, from lack of classroom resources to wishing for those extra materials, that would take us to the next level in our educational journey, but we come together as a caring and responsible community, always mindful to respect each other.

We celebrate our differences while we learn and grow together.

My Project

With the hot NY spring and summer seasons rapidly approaching, we are asking for tower fans, snacks and water to help get through the hottest days.

Please help make learning a breeze in our class; we need tower fans to keep our classroom cool!

Our school is a little old and we, teachers in the building, do not have control over the temperatures in our classrooms. Our classroom is on the second floor and faces the sun! With high temperatures and humidity levels, staying focused in class can be a challenge. With the spring and summer coming around the corner, we are asking for tower fans to help our students learn in a more comfortable environment. The rooms can get very warm during these next months and the students have trouble concentrating in the heat. These fans would help our students to concentrate on their education. These tower fans are extremely safe for use around children as all the blades are on the inside. These fans would make our classroom as comfortable and functional as possible. This essentially will allow our students to excel and reach their goals for the year!
