Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Inner city school has just been given a facelift. Students finally get a patch of grass they can play on for the first time ever! My students love soccer, basketball and dodgeball. These 6th graders have been on this school campus since kindergarten and have never had grass to play on. This would be their first and only experience and with your help, you could create everlasting memories!!

I would love to share these items with my grade level team and give these students a real opportunity to play outdoors each week.

Each week students would be able to choose from the various items and rotate through games to have a balanced learning experience. Using their minds to solve problems, help with leadership skills and overall mental & physical health.
