This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I've been given the green light to start up a gardening elective for our middle schoolers. We'll be starting almost from the ground up, and need lots of supplies to get started! We'll be germinating seed, planting them in our beds, nurturing them as they grow, and harvesting our own produce!

WMS kids will get to take a hands-on, daily approach to growing, harvesting, cooking, and eating our own, organic produce, and with your help, we can get our school garden up and running.

Thanks for helping middle schoolers developing skills that they can take with them for life with the requested clippers, cart, bins, growing trays, and other sources!
