My Project

As the school counselor, it is my job to help students take care of their social/emotional needs so that they can be able to focus on their learning. There is a great need to teaching mental wellness skills so that students can be successful. These skills include coping skills, friendship skills, how to appropriately ask for help, and emotion regulation.

Without these vital skills students have a much more difficult time focusing on reading, writing, and math.

The supplies I have asked for aid me in helping students learn how to take care of their mental and emotional wellbeing.
