My Project

To effectively support my students' mental health and overall well-being, I am requesting essential mental health resources for my school counseling office alongside crucial school supplies. These items will significantly enhance their ability to manage emotions, develop academic and social skills, and engage in emotional self-care. By providing fidgets and sensory tools, we can help students regulate their emotions and improve focus, while art supplies will facilitate therapeutic expression and support mental wellness through creative outlets. Additionally, having the necessary school supplies will ensure that students can complete online assignments and stay engaged with their coursework. These resources are crucial for creating a nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported, especially in our large and diverse public school where they might otherwise feel overlooked. Our goal is to build a safe and supportive space that fosters strong, trusting relationships and equips students with the tools they need to succeed both academically and personally.
