My Students

My students are amazing First graders, full of creativity and curiosity. They all come from low-income households. Despite adversities, they always come to school full of joy and enthusiasm. My students enjoy reading, art, and projects. They love learning about other cultures and animals in different habitats.

My students are English Language Learners and some require special education.

Together, we discover the joy of learning and learn to celebrate mistakes and to always try our best. We are part of a school that embraces cultural differences and encourage students to be the best version of themselves.

My Project

We are requesting an A to Z Animals Rug to enjoy their First grade school year. We start and end every school day in our meeting area. The meeting area is in the front of the classroom where my six year olds sit on the floor. I would love to have a carpet where they can comfortably sit to read, discuss and share ideas instead of on the bare floor.

A large carpet will define the meeting area for our students with special needs.

It will also provide a comfortable and warm space for every student to learn. Lastly, a large carpet would reduce the noise level and lessen the chance of injuries. Help us improve learning by feeling warm and comfortable.
