Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Together with Ms. Flora, We will be starting a new after-school, extracurricular club dedicated to S.T.E.A.M. and the beautification and environment of our converted school building. Students will be working together to add more gardens and plant life in and outside of the school building as well as painting unique pieces of mural art to bring color and life to our school.
We will be using mural art and environmental sciences to create a more vibrant and eco-friendly learning facility for our students.
Our building was once a newspaper office building, and we would like to dedicate our time to help students create a more friendly and educational environment geared more towards our community's and students' culture.
