Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Social studies is a subject my students really enjoy and would love to explore. A few weeks ago we learned about being a good citizen where students went into their communities and recorded themselves being good citizens.

My students are eager about learning and enjoy studying real life scenarios such as those taught in Social Studies.

My students take what they learn in the classroom out into their communities. When completing their good citizen projects students conducted random acts of kindness such as picking up trash in a local park to ensuring family members followed the law by buckling up in the car.

My Project

By receiving these Scholastic magazines students will have a better and up to date resource that can stimulate their learning. Currently students have outdated textbooks that are not kid friendly and uninteresting to them. With the help of this donation students can become eager about Social Studies again.

This project will better help my students because they will have a resource other than the out dated textbooks in our classroom.

Students will learn accurate information about past and current events in a fun and kid friendly way.
