My Students

Our students are excited to learn! We encourage our students to reach their potential. We want to make sure they continue to value education by making learning fun! We need your help to provide students will supplies that will help engage and differentiate learning!

Our classroom is composed of 13 students.

We are an integrated co-teaching ASD Nest Classroom. We have both general and special education students. We aim to instill a love of learning and to push students to strive for their best.

My Project

With the Scholastic News subscriptions, our students will become knowledgeable and excited about current events. The articles will introduce students to news and newspapers. Being able to understand and read news articles is an important everyday skill.

With this donation, students will be able to read grade appropriate articles weekly.

The subscription also comes with entertaining and engaging activities aligned with the common core. The articles have beautiful graphics and articles that are highly engaging to second graders.

In our classroom, we will read these articles weekly, both together and independently. Students will work in groups to complete activities associated with the articles.
