My Project

Scholastic Magazines are an amazing resource for students! Scholastic News gives 3rd graders the opportunity to read, understand, and form opinions about current events in their lives. Scholastic Science and STEM Magazines will encourage readers to step out of the norm of doing assignments and engage in innovative activities.

In third grade at San Tan, our two classes plan to read the Scholastic Magazines with partners, which will encourage discussions and participation in enrichment activities.

We have witnessed mindset growth and pure joy when kids work together to figure out solutions to problems posed. All of these skills, when practiced, potentially create life-long learners! Finally, students will learn to collaborate with compassion when their ideas are different than others. The ability to communicate effectively and with respect will serve them well throughout their lives.
