My Project

Scholastic News is amazing in my classroom! We get 1 issue a week for the entire school year. We get it in print and in the digital platform. It brings Science and Social Studies to life with current up to date colorful stories and images.

My 1st graders love Scholastic News!

I like to work together on the digital platform then I give my kids the chance to read it with a partner or small group and they explore. I especially love it because when we are done during the day with the paper copy the kids take it home, and they become the teacher, sharing it at home with their families.
