Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you look forward to receiving a new magazine in the mail? I want my students to feel what it's like to receive their own magazines on a weekly basis.

Most of my students lack the resources to buy new books and magazines on a regular basis.

A subscription to Scholastic News magazine would give them the opportunity to read about current events on a weekly basis. They will be able to take these magazines home and share them with their families.

My Project

Scholastic News magazines will bring the outside world into our classroom. Students will learn about global themes through high interest articles. They will identify with children in other parts of the world that may be feeling the same things they are feeling. The grade level reading material will help them practice all the skills they are learning in fourth grade.

Help me give students a better understanding of the world around them.

This magazine may help them discover new interests and encourage them to read more about the world outside of the classroom.
