My Project

Scholastic News has become a classroom favorite. The articles often tie in with what we are learning for the month along with additional interesting animal and science facts. I would like to enhance our learning by reading interesting news articles in hopes of possibly making a text to self connection.

Incorporating Scholastic News into our classroom would be a great way to learn print in another form.

I have more than a handful of students that are English language learners and come from low-income homes. Each of them come to school everyday with their minds open and are eager to learn.
