My Students

I teach 2nd grade in a public school that has a diverse population. Most of the students in our school come from low income families. My sixteen 2nd grade students work hard, are excited to learn new things, and all learn in a variety of ways.

My sixteen 2nd graders are all learning virtually right now through eLearning and will be until at least January.

I want to provide my students with a resource to teach them current events, and have the equipment I need to best teach them virtually.

My Project

The Scholastic News magazines will help my students learn about current events. They will also help me incorporate Science and Social Studies into my students' curriculum. I will be able to use the digital resources with them since my students are learning virtually. If they get to come back to school for the second semester, we can use the actual magazines.

Since I am teaching my students virtually I want to have the equipment necessary to do this.

The gooseneck iPad holder will allow me to write things down and project it to my students. The cart will allow me a spot to keep my laptop and iPad while being able to move around to different resources in the classroom.
