Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fifth graders are inquisitive, full of energy and they have an eagerness to learn that is unmatched! It is a pleasure to walk into my classroom everyday because I know my students will give their all to achieve their goals. Their excitement for learning keeps me going each and everyday.

I have the great pleasure of having a very diverse population of students in my classroom, each very unique in learning style and academic capabilities.

New York City is home to a diverse culture and a wide range of socioeconomic statuses, which are seen throughout the city and in each one of the classrooms. We have a high percentage of students who receive free or reduced-price lunches.

My Project

These magazines will be a great resource to enhance my students' learning throughout all subject areas. They will give them the opportunity to read and listen to current events and non-fiction topics. The magazines assist with the skills and knowledge that students need most with engaging, standards-based lessons on science, social studies, and language arts.

They provide everything we need to boost the reading skills of my students, including thrilling articles and step-by-step instruction.

The online components will be key, especially since we use an online classroom even though we are back These would be incredibly helpful for our classroom.
