My Project

My students are curious learners beginning to develop early literacy and pre-writing skills. Scholastic Classroom Magazines can be particularly valuable because they motivate the children to read. Some of the readers are more likely to read magazine content that can be read in a single sitting, making it a rewarding exercise. The classroom magazines encourage students to read for enjoyment.

The magazines can also be used for home, which serve as a starting point for thoughtful discussion on various topics.

Research shows connecting home and school literacy by involving parents through collaboration was key in student success.
