Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At first glance this may look like just a bunch of games. These particular board games were chosen due to the playing style. These games require collaboration and teamwork for all players to survive and win. Instead of there being only one player, like with most traditional board games, these will encourage teamwork and planning.

These games will be used as exploration and practice as teams of students then plan to create their own board games in STEAM/Technology Class.

The games will be shared among the entire grade of students, reaching over 100 students. While it fosters a sense of competition it also supports collaboration at the same time. These values will be instilled in my middle schoolers year after year as we are able to reuse these board games. We included multiple levels of the games to allow all of our learners the ability to participate.
