Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students, when motivated, are active go-getters. When we first went remote learning - each students was more than willing to log on and listen to what the lesson of the week for social studies was. If I had the opportunity to re-live last year, I would have liked to have a magnetic dry erase board to show BIG ideas and concepts for both my 7th and 8th grade students.

Many of them are visual learners and the more I can show them via our google meets with a dry erase board, the better.

I can write key concepts, have them take notes, make connections - this would be a great support system for students that need scaffolding.

My Project

With lessons that require more than just a powerpoint, LIVE instruction with this dry erase board would allow me to conduct lessons that support students who need written LIVE words and visuals. Parents can see a written objective of the day with the essential question - be it LIVE or when its uploaded as an archived lesson.

With this magnetic board, I can attach key words for the lesson, create word walls/charts, flow charts - all to make sure all my students understand the lesson at hand when they are home or in the classroom.
