Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout this school year, we will be collecting new and gently used dress clothing items for students to have for prom and graduation in June. Many of our students are economically disadvantaged and cannot afford clothing appropriate for these events.

We want to make a boutique for students to have a special experience while they "shop" for dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories.

Clothing and shoe racks, and hangers will allow clothes to be fully displayed, and the steamer will make sure the clothing is ready to go! Garment and shoe bags will allow for easy transportation of the items without having to crumble or ruin them in the process. The flutes and sparking cider will just be something nice for students to enjoy when they visit the prom boutique!
