My Project

Recess is essential for our students, providing a valuable break from academics. Important life skills are learned on the playground allowing them to engage in physical activity, build friendships, and develop teamwork skills.

Currently, our playground equipment is in disrepair.

The school budget has not allowed for upgrades and many playground centers have had to be removed because they had become unsafe. We have an ideal location for a standalone slide and two soccer goals.

Additionally, I would like to offer diverse options to cater to different student interests and include a storage box for keeping the equipment organized. Our students are very deserving of a place where they can have a break from the day and blow off energy and be safe!
