My Project
The outdoor environment plays a crucial role in a child's development, fostering curiosity, creativity, and physical well-being. These spaces cultivate a deep connection between children and nature, fostering a sense of wonder and respect for the world around them.
Outside play is so important it is viewed as a "third teacher," alongside educators and peers, providing a dynamic canvas for exploration and discovery.
All children need fine and gross motor physical activities, risky and messy play and, to explore nature. The cross timber logs will provide children with opportunities to balance, the gemstones will provide opportunities for digginging in the sand and, the balls will help with eye hand coordination.
We go outside twice a day and these resources will help change our boring playground to a beautiful outdoor learning environment.
