My Project

All middle school students should be exposed to some form of financial literacy. This will equip them with the tools to manage their money wisely and develop essential life skills, like prioritizing, organizing, and making informed decisions. The financial literacy games, supplies, and support materials will provide real-world relevance, which will allow students to see how these skills directly apply to their lives. The executive functioning games and supports will aid in diverse learning styles with visual aids, group activities, and digital resources that cater to a range of learners, ensuring that all students connect with the materials. These practical tools will allow students to experiment with decision-making in a low-risk environment, boosting their confidence to apply these skills in real life.

The main goal is to foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to help these middle school students make informed financial and life decisions.

Students will also gain foundational knowledge in budgeting, saving, and responsible spending to prepare them for lifelong financial success. Developing key skills such as prioritization and self-regulation will serve students across academic, personal, and professional domains.

These middle schoolers are at a pivotal stage in life trying to navigate the transition to independence, making this the ideal time to introduce practical skills to shape their futures.
