My Project

The "American dream" begins with financial literacy and funding this project enables special education students a means to acquire their dreams.

Saving, investing, budgeting, and debt management are the skills needed to be successful in life.

In today's world, too often children just swipe a card and get things, but don't understand why that is so. Learning how to count, and how to save are money concepts that students need to learn at a young age.

Using the small group model in math, students will develop skills using the Money Practice Cards, Magnetic Coins, and activities using the cash register to build their foundational skills. Snacks will be used to feed their minds while using their brains as children learn best when they are not hungry.

By donating to our project, you will help provide students the materials needed to create financially responsible and successful adults.
