Help me give my students GREAT parent/child groups and home visits by helping me provide crafts, food, activities, and sensory items, to support their needs and development.

My Project

I am asking for help to provide necessary resources for the children and families I work with. I am an Early Childhood Coordinator and this is my second year in this role. As a home visitor, there are certain developmental needs I see in these children that need an intervention. To define developmental needs, there are children I work with who have delays, such as preemies who have spent a lot of time in the hospital. Children with sensory issues who need things a bit differently than other children. Children who need a little extra push with motor skills etc.. There is always a need within our communities and with your help, I have faith that I can help each of these families thrive!

The benefits this would provide to the families and children i work with would simply be amazing and I look forward to the opportunity to create new learning environments!

Life is all about opportunities and learning from the opportunities we take. That is what I would like to show the families and children that I work with on a daily basis, as well as when I have my monthly group settings.

Each month I have a large group setting for the families I work with. We all come together and eat a meal. We also discuss an early developmental skill and I provide crafts, activities, and games that go along with the skill. By helping me provide the items needed for these group settings, such as: the fridge for food, the cart for transporting items where needed, a desk for activities, sensory toys for those with sensory issues, toys to support the different age range as well as the different early developmental skills I focus on, this will provide each child the opportunity for school success.
