Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bilingual and are learning to be independent readers and writers in Spanish and English. They enjoy reading books, working with robotics, and coding. They like helping each other when they work in groups.

In our class, we are building a classroom family, where everyone matters.

We have school guiding principles we are learning in order to become responsible and respectful citizens. For example, having integrity, everyone matters, and not everyone learns the same way because we are all different.

My Project

Help my students to have their work nice and neat in their folders.

The two pockets will help separate their finished work from the work in progress.

There folders will be perfect or their writers workshop time. They can store their work in progress so that they can go back to revise and partner share their stories, like real authors.

The laminating pouches will save art work that can decorate our classroom making it more inviting, and motivating them to do their best. We look forward to saving our work to share it with our supportive parents great fellow students.
