My Students

Can you imagine having everything carried, worked and stored on paper? Well, you probably can! Can you imagine going back to that type of working condition? My students have access to the computers at school, which will not allow them to store their work on the desktop, and need a storage device.

My students are faced with the challenge of being in an alternative setting.

Many times it is difficult for them to have the opportunities from a traditional campus because of the lack of support. There is no parent/ teacher group and many are at low income levels making it difficult to provide technology conveniences, such as a flash drive.

My Project

The flash drives are going to allow my students to save and edit all types of school work. They will store traditional writing assignments, as well as create and store web-based projects, including videos and various presentations. This is a basic form of technology conveniences that is also essential to be efficient with their time and resources.

This project is so important to my students because without it, they will lose valuable class time, attempting to search for and store their work on a teacher shared flash drive.

Also, it is easy for them to lose work when a fellow student mistakenly deletes their work or renames it.
