My Students

I teach technology to first grade through third grade in a Title I school in Brooklyn, New York. Many of my students are from families that fall below the poverty line. I have students of varying levels, special needs, and languages all in the technology lab at the same time.

Many of my students do not have access to technology at home so when they come to the technology lab they are excited and eager to learn and get to work.

My students are bright, cheerful, loving, excited, and eager to learn.

My Project

My students need flash drives in order to save their work. As of now the students are not able to save their work while in the technology lab having flash drives would resolve this.

The flash drives would also be a great way to share their work with family members during conferences.

Many of my students attend after school programs if they had flash drives they would be able to continue working even when not in school. I have many students who enjoy writing stories, creating pictures on the computer but when class is over their work is gone since they are not able to save their work.

If they had flash drives they would be able to save their work and just continue from where they left off next time.
