Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to seek your support for a group of dedicated students who are working hard to improve their English skills and succeed in their academic pursuits. These students attend Saturday school to practice their English abilities, and your help could make a significant difference in their learning experience.

Many of these students have recently arrived in our country and face unique challenges as they prepare for the Regents exams and strive to excel in the NYS ELA test.

They live in shelters and often lack access to necessary resources. To facilitate their learning and provide additional motivation, we are looking to provide them with headphones that will enhance their listening and comprehension skills during lessons.

Additionally, we have found that providing snacks can greatly encourage attendance and participation. A simple treat can go a long way in keeping students motivated and engaged as they navigate their educational journey.

By contributing headphones and snacks, you can help create a supportive and enriching environment where these students can thrive. Every little bit counts, and your generosity can empower them to achieve their goals.
