Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn about the human body and the study of life as a whole. These students take AP Biology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. As a STEM-designated school, my students are often challenged to apply concepts learned in the classroom to their outside world. They often partake in hands-on collaborative work to increase engagement and boost their higher-level thinking skills.

Students at our magnet school take a wide variety of AP and Dual enrollment courses situated on a University campus on the intercoastal providing them the opportunity to deeply explore the world of Marine and Environmental Science.

My students come from a diverse array of backgrounds all incredibly passionate, inquisitive, and hopeful to make a difference in their community.

My Project

With the increase in COVID cases, we are starting to see more and more students being quarantined.

With these supplies, I am hopeful to create a clean and sanitized classroom environment to decrease the number of cases in the classroom.

This will help decrease the stress that comes with the fear of getting sick for not only myself but my students. The vacuum, duster, and disinfecting supplies will help in creating a clean, safe, and stress-free place for my students. We will use these items to disinfect the classroom daily.
